This week I was lucky enough to host a #heretocreate HIIT workout for adidas by Stella McCartney with fellow adidas global ambassador Adrienne. It was an epic event based around bringing women together to get strong and sweaty. It was a celebration of what our bodies can do, and I felt honoured to be a part of it. Oh and did I mention that we got to interview and train with Karlie Kloss?!
Three Things I Learnt
Sweat With Pride
We should not be afraid to sweat. Instead we should be proud to. It is a reflection of our determination and dedication. It shows just how hard we are working to better ourselves. Let’s hold our sweaty heads high and own it.
We’re Stronger Together
The event emphasised female empowerment and the feeling of all being in it together. When you train with another women, you both bring your energy to the room and can bounce off one another. Women supporting women is incredible and when it happens you become stronger together.
I got to pick Karlie’s brain about how she stays fit and strong when she travels so much. She says that she has a pair of Ultraboost trainers in her bag at all times, so she can slip them on and go for a run wherever she is in the world.
A Taster of The HIIT Workout
Our final circuit of the day was a countdown from 10 reps! We picked three exercises and completed 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 rep of each. Back to back. No rest. Ouch!
