This is a basic protein bar recipe that you can experiment with and make your own!
- 1 cup coconut flour
- 4 scoops whey protein powder (any flavour)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/3 cup powdered sweetener (e.g. stevia)
- 1 cup water
- 50g 85%+ dark chocolate
Combine all the ingredients except the chocolate. Press the mixture into a small lined try. Melt the chocolate and pour this over the mixture. Pop the tray in the freezer to set (around 30-45 minutes), chop into bars, and store in the fridge for up to a week.
These are called â??customisableâ? since you can make them whatever flavour you like! Just change the protein powder, and add in extras such as nuts, extracts or dried fruit to make your own custom protein bar recipe.
