Mug cakes are the ultimate quick fix when you’re craving something sweet. This protein packed cake only takes a couple of minutes to make and is easily customisable.


1 scoop chocolate protein powder

1 tbsp cocoa powder

1/4 tsp baking powder

1 egg white

2 tbsp milk (e.g. unsweetened almond milk)

Just pop all the ingredients in a mug, mix, and microwave for around 45 seconds to a minute -until cooked through. Then add your toppings and enjoy!

Customise your mug cake by changing the flavour of protein powder, or adding in ingredients like Greek yoghurt, mashed banana, or dried fruit!
