5 Reasons You Can’t Miss Balance Festival 2017

Balance Festival is the hottest fitness event to have hit the UK and I can’t wait to see you guys there. If you haven’t read my previous announcement post where I shared my role in the festival and what talks, workouts and workshops I will be leading then click here. Otherwise, read on to hear 6 reasons you simply cant miss out on this weekend of fitness!

The Urban Triathlon

This epic fitness challenge is taking place on the Saturday prior to the festival doors opening. There are only 1000 spaces in this unique event where you take part in a 25 minute HIIT class, then run 6km through London and finish off with a 30 minute yoga session. Each wave is lead by different leading trainers – including little old me! – and it is an experience suitable for every fitness level. The best part? The Urban Tri is in support of a good cause – Project Waterfall. An initiative delivering clean drinking water to schools in African countries. Find out how to enter here.

The Epic Line Up

Balance have managed to secure pretty much the best line up I have ever seen for a fitness event! What I appreciate the most though, is that they havent just gone for big names. They have gone for respected ones, true experts in each field. This means that as a consumer you will be learning as much as possible from the best of the best. Think people like The Food Medic, Madeleine Shaw, Rhiannon Lambert, Dale Pinnock and so many more!

The Brands and Stands

One of the best bits about these big fitness festivals is getting to wander around the stands and meet the people behind your favourite brands. Balance isnt going to disappoint on this front. They have got stands from everyones favourites such as Active in Style, Pip and Nut and Neat nutrition. If you need me, I’ll be stuffing my face with the nut butter samples.

The Workouts

There are multiple workout classes every single day from the biggest names in the industry. The best studios in town will be making you sweat, such as F45, Barrys Bootcamp, Equinox and Third Space. Not to mention the collision style workouts such as the ones lead by Shona Vertue ands I! I mean, you might as well put the energy from all those free treats  to good use hey?!

The Food

The food on offer at Balance Festival is legit. Not only is there a live cooking theatre where well known names like Clean Eating Alice and Healthy Chef Steph will be cooking up a storm; but there is The Balanced Kitchen. This is an area crammed full of healthy food outlets, including an avocado kitchen. The dream. Oh and not to mention the mylk bar and the various drinks and snacks you’ll be trying at all the stands. I sense a food coma coming on.

Don’t miss out on this epic event, be sure to grab a ticket on the Balance festival website. Hand don’t forget to come along to my workouts, workshops, cooking demos and panel discussions. I would love to meet you!
