Summer is the time of year for smoothies! Packed full of nutrients and bursting with flavour, these three quick and simple recipes all contain my staple ingredient PBfit. PBfit has all the nutty deliciousness of peanut butter but with less calories, which basically means you can eat more… its a win win really! If you want to mix up your morning smoothie game, then give these quick recipes a try:

Raspberry, Lime, Coconut & Peanut Butter Smoothie 

Ingredients:

  • 175ml of oat milk or other milk alternative
  • 2 tbsp PBfit
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ cup of frozen raspberries
  • Squeeze of lime
  • 1 tbsp Coconut flakes
  • Handful of ice cubes

Method:

  1. Add the oat milk, PB fit powder, frozen banana, frozen raspberries, squirt of lime, coconut flakes, ice cubes to a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into your glass of choice, add some chia seeds, coconut flakes, a slice of lime to garnish and voila!

Lean Green Peanut Machine

Ingredients:

  • 150ml almond milk or other milk alternative
  • 1 scoop of vegan protein powder
  • 2 tbsp of PBfit
  • 1 tsp agave/ honey
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 handful of kale
  • ½ a pear  
  • Couple of ice cubes

Method:

  1. Add the almond milk, protein powder, PB fit powder, agave, banana, kale, pear and ice cubes into your food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Serve and enjoy!

Peachy Peanut Butter Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 175ml of oat milk or other milk alternative
  • 1 scoop of protein powder
  • 2 tbsp PBfit
  • 1 de-stoned peach
  • A couple of dried apricots
  • Handful of ice cubes

Method:

  1. Add the oat milk, protein powder, PB fit powder, peach, dried apricots and ice cubes into your food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Serve and enjoy!
